Apex Legends fans seem to be glued to their Twitters as often as they are to the game recently. This is likely due to the fact that reliable leakers like Shrugtal and Biast12 have been sharing new information surrounding the game, with one of their most recent updates detailing new Halloween skins. However, now it seems in their latest sweep of the game's data they've stumbled upon the first look at Season 7 content.

The dataminers took to Twitter to share their discoveries of various upcoming content that they believe to be part of Season 7. Each of these items has the word "Ascension" as a tag, causing many players to speculate that this will be the subtitle for the season. This seems to fall in line with the theory that Apex Legends will be receiving a new map in the next season, with the most likely candidate being the floating city in the sky, Olympus.

These leaks show new weapon skins for both the Hemlok as well as the Longbow with Shrugtal under the impression that they will be available on the Battle Pass. The Hemlok is sporting a bright purple and green combo, while the Longbow has a more turquoise and spiderweb-like design. They then went on to present a new Rare skin for Wraith, stating that this will likely be apart of the Battle Pass as well. This skin gives Wraith an almost regal look with the primary color being a dark purple accented with whites and golds.

While Shrugtal has been showing players weapon and character skins, Biast12 has been hard at work presenting other findings. In particular, they have discovered new weapon charms coming to the game. The charms themselves are of different creatures from Apex Legends, the Leviathan and the Prowler. However with these charms, the normally intimidating beasts have been folded into cute origami with multiple character variations to choose from.

These two dataminers have been quite busy ever since Respawn Entertainment launched its Aftermarket event and crossplay update. Between the two of them, they have been able to uncover many new and exciting things coming to Apex Legends in the near future, such as the Shadow Royale LTM for Halloween.

However, perhaps their biggest discovery has been the new character for Season 7, Horizon. Previous delves within the game's code seemed to imply that the next legend would be a character by the name of Valk. This seems to no longer be the case as the dataminers found a plethora of information that seems to imply that it will be Horizon and not Valk next. It seems that Apex Legends players will just need to keep an eye on Twitter to see what Shrugtal and Biast12 will find next.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version currently in development.
