After over 3 years on the market, it should come as little surprise that Apex Legends is making its way to mobile devices. Since the battle royale genre became extremely popular, many of the top games in the industry, such as Fortnite and PUBG, have started to provide a mobile experience for users. Now, Respawn Entertainment aims to do the same with the upcoming release of a mobile version of its popular battle royale. While Apex Legends Mobile was recently soft-launched in 10 countries, it appears that the wait for everyone else is nearing an end.

Recently, Respawn Entertainment gave fans of the franchise an exciting update on the status of Apex Legends Mobile. Based on an update from the developer, it was announced that Apex Legends Mobile pre-registration is now live. This means that anxious gamers can begin registering for the mobile battle royale, so they are ready to jump into the action upon its full release.

As a result, gamers will have access to the following rewards upon the full release of Apex Legends Mobile: Founder’s Badge, Banner Frame - Bloodhound, Banner Pose - Bloodhound, and an Epic R-99 skin. Furthermore, an Epic Bloodhound skin will become available if over 10 million players pre-register.

Furthermore, there was a sneak peek at Team Deathmatch, a mode exclusive to the mobile version of the title.

This news regarding the upcoming launch of a mobile version of the battle royale is likely exciting for many fans that are eager to try the game for themselves. While Apex Legends Mobile is already available in some regions, the full launch of the title is expected to take place at some point during the summer. However, the developer update noted that things are subject to change. It will be interesting to see what fan reception to this portable version of the battle royale will be upon its full release. Time will tell if it can manage to satisfy both mobile gamers while still offering the fluid gameplay longtime fans of the franchise have come to expect.
