Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has gotten its first official poster featuring the anticipated return of Scott Lang and Hope Pym. The Marvel film was originally slated to arrive in theaters on July 28, 2023, but swapped release dates with The Marvels for being further along in production. As a result, the film will officially premiere in theaters on February 17, 2023.

Ant-Man first arrived in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2015 with the release of the miniature hero's first solo project. The film performed well, receiving an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, and starred Paul Rudd in the titular role. The film's positive reception opened an avenue for a sequel, which hit theaters in 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp proved to be another successful outing for the miniature hero and introduced Evangeline Lilly into the MCU as the Wasp.

The brand-new poster for the upcoming film showcases Rudd and Lilly within their emblematic costumes, alongside the first look of Kathryn Newton, who will be playing the role of Cassie Lang, within her official purple suit as Stinger. Lurking in the background is the upcoming film's antagonist, Kang the Conqueror, who Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors will play. The iconic villain made his first appearance in the MCU within the Disney Plus original series, Loki.

Majors played an alternate version of the antagonist in the Disney Plus series, He Who Remains. For many viewers, Majors stole the show within the series' final episode, introducing minor hints about his character and briefly mentioning the various names he's been called, including "conqueror." The emblematic time-traveling villain is known for having alternate versions of himself, so it'll be interesting to see what version of Kang appears in the upcoming Marvel film.

The overall synopsis for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania continues to sit behind closed doors, so it's unclear how the vast array of characters will interact with one another. The Quantum Realm has been a significant component within the Ant-Man narratives, which creates speculation that the new Marvel adventure will spend its time mostly there. The release of an official poster could mean footage is soon to appear, hopefully revealing more about the upcoming film.

Peyton Reed will direct Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will also see the return of Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas as Janet Van Dyne and Hank Pym. It'll be interesting to see where the miniature hero's new journey will go and the role it will play within the current trajectory of the MCU. Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp have generated over $1.14 billion worldwide, which Marvel look to add to within the upcoming Quantum adventure.
