Some of the recipes are legitimate foods from fan-favorite food-themed anime. Food Wars's souffle omelet from the first season's 92nd Tōtsuki Generation's Tōtsuki Friendship and Rapport Training Camp is confirmed to be in the cookbook, along with the infamous Peanut Butter Squid from the first episode of the same season. Other recipes from food-related anime include Panda Shaved Ice Parfait from Polar Bear Café, the Frozen Mango Cocktail from Love Is Like A Cocktail, and more, just to name a few.

Some foods are more inspired by anime themselves. There is a 'recipe' called Bento Inspiration, with ideas for your own custom bento box with inspiration from Gakuen Babysitters. Along with that, there is a cake recipe inspired by the Alice in Wonderland episode of Ouran Highschool Host Club, a Mystery Sizzling Steak inspired byTokyo Ghoul, and even instructions for My Neighbor Totoro latte art.

Even a few recipes are inspired by popular memes within online anime circles. One of which is for After-School Nikuman from Haikyuu!!, Sasha's Stolen Bread and Potato Soup in remembrance of the once-popular potato girl meme from Attack on Titan, and even a Cold Soba recipe inspired by the Todoroki meme from My Hero Academia.

If you preorder the cookbook, you get an exclusive bookmark, an exclusive bookplate, and a signed copy of the cookbook. Each recipe includes detailed instructions, with cooking tips, detailed information about the anime and episode the recipe is inspired by, and full-page colored illustrations to accompany the recipe. There is also information on the recipe with estimated prep time and cooking time as well.

You can pre-order the cookbook here on Amazon.
