Rimuru had been resurrected as a slime after being killed in a former life and sent to a fantastical world. He makes friends and allies with beings from all walks of life. Rimuru's brain and smart thinking allow him to consistently triumph over obstacles and adversaries.
Rimuru, in his slime form, is able to learn the skills of whatever he eats. Rimuru can obtain more than just new abilities and powers through eating. He picks up a lot of information about the world and its inhabitants from the things he eats.

In the Arifureta manga and anime series, Hajime Nagumo is known for his extraordinary eating skills. Because of the transformations he underwent in the dungeon, he is able to absorb the skills of monsters and other creatures through ingestion. Because of this, he can endure the most hostile situations and even gain an advantage in combat.

As one of the Sensui Seven, a group of psychics on a mission to complete the Makai Tunnel and unlock the demon world gateway, Sadao Makihara is a formidable foe.
Being a member of the Sensui Seven psychic order, Makihara has the ability to consume living people and take on their skills and knowledge. He was only allowed to consume Elder Toguro, though, so that his demon abilities might be put to good use. Makihara lost control of his body due to Toguru's immense power, and in order to reclaim it, he killed Toguru.

In the series A Certain Magical Index, Fraulein Kreutune is an immortal being who, in a world where superpowers are commonplace, is rumored to have an enormous memory. It is likely that her name isn't Fraulein, but fans don't know who she really is.
When she eats the brain, she is able to absorb information from her surroundings. Despite having other options, she goes through with it nonetheless. Over time, she figures out how to suppress her natural tendency to absorb information gleaned from other people's heads.
