Lucky Star is one of those anime shows that most people have heard of, but may not have watched. It's an iconic comedy show from 2007 and is much loved by those who have watched it. With the anime being set in high school, it's a given that the characters will be wearing sailor uniforms.

Sayaka is one of the students at Hope's Peak Academy, a school that's not exactly a typical school. As well as a studious student, she's also a popular idol. Due to this, she's used to masking her true emotions and appears to be a happy-go-lucky character at first.

She develops a friendship with the main character, Naegi, being reunited with him after going their separate ways after middle school. In Danganronpa, the students must kill each other to escape. Fuelled by traumatizing videos given to them by Monokuma, each student now has a motive to kill.

6 Welcome To Demon School! Iruma-Kun: Clara

Clara attends Babylus Demon School, a school that only allows demons to enter. Humans are forbidden to go inside, due to the fact they'd probably be eaten by their fellow students. However, Suzuki Izuma is sold to the demon Sullivan and becomes his grandson.

Sullivan gives Izuma the power to hide the fact that he's a human, and attends his first day at the school. The viewers are then introduced to the firecracker, Clara. Outgoing and wacky, Clara captured the hearts of the viewers. She's completely unaware of her own behavior and creates a strong bond with Izuma.

Yuno is one of those characters that anime fans know all too well. Whether they've seen The Future Diary or they've seen pictures of her floating around the internet, it's more than likely they know who Gasai Yuno is.

In the first season of Noragami, Hiyori is introduced as the average middle school student. After spotting someone in the middle of the road, she jumps in front of traffic to save the stranger. Hiyori survives but is soon accompanied by the God, Yato. However, the accident gives her soul the power to leave her body. This makes Hiyori a half-human, half-phantom.

Yato joins her along her new journey in life and promises to banish her new power if she helps him with a favor. Understandably, she's terrified of the concept at first, but throughout the show, she starts to utilize her new powers to fight evil spirits.

3 Shuffle!

The female cast in Shuffle! all wear matching sailor uniforms. Shuffle! is a harem anime, and the viewers mostly see the female cast wearing these outfits throughout the show. Nerine and Sia are originally from another world, and their one purpose for being on Earth is to make Rin fall in love with them.

This group of girls all falls in love with Rin. After all, it is a harem anime. Throughout the show viewers see the girls form connections with Rin, but the deeper they fall, things start to take a dark turn.

Kirino is the typical tsundere archetype who has a love-hate relationship with her brother. The anime does eventually take a turn when Kirino starts to develop feelings for her own brother. She hides the fact that she loves video games and could probably be classed as an otaku.

This is until her brother finds out and eventually also her friends, leading to Kirino having a lot of explaining to do. She's a smart student and even has a part-time job as a model, though Kirino starts to explore her hobbies more when she starts to form friendships with similar people.

1 Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun: Nene Yashiro

Nene Yashiro is taken by surprise when she summons Hanako-Kun, a mysterious rumored spirit in the school bathroom. She soon becomes Hanako's assistant and becomes involved in a plethora of supernatural scenarios. A lot of the time she's the one being saved by Hanako and is often teleported to the spiritual realm by a school spirit.

The show follows the Japanese "Seven Wonders" urban legend, in which every school has an abundance of spiritual beings hiding in the walls. Nene just wants to find love but can be naive when it comes to forming relationships.
