The Slink is another optional item in Animal Well that players can get their hands on pretty quickly. This item allows the players to solve a few puzzles linked to the item. However, after acquiring it, it's easy to get confused exploring the game's vast map.
As the game is completely non-linear, this allows players to approach any item they want in any order. Once the Slink is in possession, it is best to acquire the next item, the Yoyo, which is located on the right side of the map.

The Ghost Cat is one of the most terrifying entities in Animal Well, but players can defeat it by taking the Mock Disc to the Mock Disc Shrine.
Animal Well: After Slink Walkthrough
Go To The Statue Room
After acquiring the Slink, use it on your right so that it starts to fall off the step one at a time, and make your way left to activate the other button. Once this is done, head through the barrier and down all the way. Head left from this room, past the green bird, and down the ladder. On the left, you will find the main Statue Room, where you can use the telephone to save your game.
From the telephone, head left and up the wooden platforms to reach the ladder above. This ladder leads to the Egg Room on your right, but you can ignore that and head up toward another ladder. This ladder goes on for quite a bit so make sure to go all the way to the top. From here, jump to the top left part of the room to reach a firecracker on top of a small hill. Pick it up, head left, and equip the Disc. Use the Disc on the dog so that you can go ahead without it damaging you. On your left, you will come to a room with a new kind of puzzle.
The Double Switch Puzzles
This is quite an easy puzzle and requires the Disc. Aim the Disc at one of the switches and proceed forward, jumping up the platforms that alternate one by one. Once you reach the top, you will find another switch puzzle. Use your Disc again, jump up, and keep heading upper left until you can drop down to the chest below. Inside the chest, you will find a match that you will use shortly. Head up twice, then keep going right till you reach the candle that you can light with the newly found match. This will allow you to get the chest just below it.
After this, you need to head to the top left of the candle until you reach the top floor, and then you can proceed far right. Activate the yellow button here and head right to interact with the telephone and save your game.
How to Sneak Up on a Squirrel in Animal Well
Although it is technically missable, players can unlock Animal Well's SNEAK Trophy / Achievement fairly easily by starting a new game.
Going Down The Pipes
From the telephone, head right and down the first platform to reach a room with a fish tunnel at the end. There is a chest here that you can open to acquire a match. Equip your bubble wand and use it to make a bubble go into the fish's mouth and jump into it. This will allow you to travel through the pipes into another area. Head left of this room to enter a dark room where you must jump to the right using your wand as soon as you see the fruit on the ground. Open the chest on the right platform to acquire the Ruby Egg and head up using the wand.
Reaching The Yoyo
You will now enter a room with several white birds and other obstacles floating around. These white birds follow you around and can be used as a moving platform. Head right, then make your way to the top left of this room. Head left, jump on the top white bird and move it to the other side of the room. Make sure to jump, avoiding the obstacles in the air. Head left and, this time, jump onto the lower bird in the room. Move it to the left and head down the ladder. With the help of the bird, make your right and go down the ladder once again.
Head into the room on your right to find a chest in the middle with the new item, Yoyo. This item will be quite useful in the puzzles that come as you progress in the game, so it is best to pick it up. With this in your possession, there are not many items left to collect, and you can proceed further into completing the game.
