A fan of Animal Crossing has recently shared online that they handcrafted a beautiful stained glass art piece of the game's leaf logo. Very well-known within the game's community, the leaf logo can often be seen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, especially in the in-game branding and promotional materials of Tom Nook's company, Nook Inc.
This is probably not the first time that Animal Crossing fans have taken inspiration from the leaf logo, given just how iconic to the series it is. Recently, some fans have even turned the leaf logo into Animal Crossing Christmas ornaments that they can hang up on their trees or around their houses for whenever the holidays come around. With the way this fan created their stained glass artwork, they can essentially do the same thing. They will be able to have a piece of Nintendo's life sim series hanging around their home or favorite living spaces.
On Reddit, user jennybead showed off the beautiful Animal Crossing art piece they made of the game's leaf logo using stained glass. In the photo they shared, the item was held up against the sunlight, showcasing the beautiful reflection effect it had on the wall behind the artist's hand. Proudly stating that the piece is handmade in the photo, the artist seemed to have shaped it beautifully, accurately including small details such as the logo's distinct leaf lines and the missing circular piece at the bottom. Jennybead also used two shades of green to make the design more dynamic.
Many fellow Animal Crossing fans on the Reddit thread were very impressed by jennybead's work, especially since stained glass crafting can be quite challenging. One even stated that they would love to hang this piece on their window, alongside their owl planters. Many also expressed interest in purchasing the artist's pieces, and one even jokingly asked how many Bells the piece cost. The artist humorously replied that they will take loans, referencing Tom Nook's loan schemes in the series.
According to the artist's profile, this is not the first stained glass piece they have produced based on Nintendo video games. Some of their other work include designs from Pokemon, Kirby, and Super Mario. Hopefully this Animal Crossing leaf logo artwork they crafted will not be the last. With so many iconic features and characters in Animal Crossing, fans are likely hopeful that the artist will produce more stained glass pieces inspired by the life sim series in the future.
