Nintendo's mobile Animal Crossing game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, has now arrived, letting players design and manage their own campsites. Players are already enjoying what the new game has to offer, but soon, they may have even more content to collect and enjoy.

A new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp update released on November 25th and players have now datamined the files, uncovering content that isn't available in the game yet. Among the assets are details about new villagers named Antonio, Avery, Bluebear, Drake, Goose, June, Marshal, Mitzi, Phoebe, Raddle, and Vesta.

A variety of holiday-themed items and furniture have also been uncovered. Holiday 2017 and New Year's 2018 are just two of the new furniture categories, with 76 new pieces of furniture datamined overall. These include a Christmas tree, a big teddy bear, a cooked turkey, a stocking, a Christmas cake, a fireplace (decorated with stockings and candles), a snowman, a snowglobe, a pile of presents, and a gate decorated with lights and a wreath.

And Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players won't just be able to show off their holiday spirit in their furniture choices. There are also a few holiday-themed clothing options, such as a Santa hat with the boots, trousers, and jacket to match, as well as a top hat that says "Happy New Year."

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players have been quick to crown their favorite characters, styles, and furniture. So, this forthcoming update (which does not yet have an official release date) will be welcomed with open arms. It gives players more things to do and appreciate. The arrival of new villagers, for example, should give players a new way to get resources. Meanwhile, the new furniture will give players a new reason to spend those resources.

However, this new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp content will not satisfy all players who say that there are other things that must be addressed with the mobile game. For example, players are still waiting for clothes crafting to be added to the game. Others would also like to see the price of unlocking Tom Nook and K.K. Slider come down, as some argue that they cost far too many Leaf Tickets right now.

These other features may come in good time, though. The game has not been available for long and so perhaps once the holiday content has been released, the developers will set to work on these other fan requests.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is available now on Android and iOS.
