Yesterday, Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans witnessed the launch of Bunny Day, which is a holiday event celebrating Easter. Bunny Day will last through April 12th and is set to bring tons of Easter-related activities in the game. However, Bunny Day also brought a new visitor to the island called Zipper T. Bunny, and apparently, some players are finding the visitor to be a little bit creepy.

Throughout the event, Zipper can be found exploring the island after players download the update file that introduces the Bunny Day event. What puts off most players is Zipper's obvious obsession with eggs, given that he talks about them every chance he gets. Additionally, his overall appearance appears to be making some players feel uneasy.

Although Zipper's look resembles a classic wholesome easter bunny, some players can't help but notice his wide creepy eyes that give off a sinister vibe. One player commented on how Zipper could be a character from the horror film, The Purge, and another noted how his design resembles that of the bunny that can be found throughout several Silent Hill games.

Of course, no one can really blame players for thinking this way, especially since Animal Crossing: New Horizons has recently been bombarded with fan-creations that recreate characters and scenes from some of the most iconic horror films. Nonetheless, it appears that Zipper is here to stay, at least for the duration of Bunny Day, and players can still enjoy the new event especially since collecting eggs will allow players to craft some items that will only be available during the limited-time event.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
