One creative Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has designed a ramen shop for their in-game island. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the fifth entry in the social simulation video game series developed and published by Nintendo, and it quickly became one of the company's most popular games and a definite system seller for the Nintendo Switch.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Animal Crossing: New Horizons took the world by storm as the adorable simulation-game released during the peak of travel restrictions and stay-at-home orders in 2020. The game became a virtual substitute for social gatherings for many and allowed players to customize their island to show off to friends, send items to their loved ones, hang out with their favorite villagers, and upgrade their virtual homes. The amount of freedom provided to players allowed for very creative custom content in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, including memorable island spots.

The clever player and Reddit user nown as LunarisLux created their very own authentic ramen shop for their island. In a post uploaded to the r/AnimalCrossing subreddit, LunarisLux shared they were revamping their island and decided that they were missing a ramen shop. The poster followed their caption with a picture of their creation, and the image shows how the player used several of the items from the extensive catalog of collectible items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as well as a ramen sign and decking made from custom content to create an amazing outdoor ramen shop.

In the comments, several users applauded the design of the ramen bar and several asked for the codes for the custom content used. The original poster actually responded to those and left codes to the content in the replies of the post as well. There were also a couple of comments that openly shared that they would be stealing this design to incorporate into their own island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The custom content from the game definitely expands the options that players have at their disposal when redesigning their islands. The Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons provides even more freedom for players to personalize their islands even further while also allowing players to work a job on a separate island. Design, customization, and expression is rewarded in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the sheer amount of tools given to the player, and it is always entertaining to compare the differences in how other players make use of these items.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now for Nintendo Switch.
