Many players have gotten together to create fan-sites and tools all in the pursuit of helping others get the absolute most out of their games.
While some of these fan-creations require players to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, many of these can be accessed by any player that needs them. As Animal Crossing: New Horizons is focused on a peaceful life among neighbors and other players, players using these tools are recommended to support those who've created them, whether it be by giving feedback or donating to the creator's Kofi or Patreon.
Turnip Exchange and Turnip Prophet
For players who can wake up before noon on Sundays, they can buy turnips from the adorable Daisy Mae and get launched into the hectic world of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons stalk market. For those unaware, players can buy turnips from Daisy Mae on Sundays at certain prices, however, they can resell them for different seemingly-random prices on other days of the week. If players don't sell them before the next Sunday, they'll all rot. Players who buy low and sell high can make hundreds of thousands of bells in an instant.

Turnip Prophet is an app created to predict players' turnip prices on their islands. The data used for this app was obtained via datamining and it isn't always accurate, but it is mostly accurate.
Nookazon
Players who've missed out on certain event furniture or just want to complete their catalog can use this site to exchange furniture, DIY recipes, or even villagers.
Nookazon is a site that functions like a mixture of eBay and Craigslist where players can put up items and villagers they are selling, as well as requests for items and villagers. Sellers and buyers can be rated, but users should be wary if they're paying the right price for what they want. Not to mention the questionable ethics of selling villagers to strangers online.
Nook Plaza
For players wanting to plan out everything they want for their islands, they may need to budget for them. However, using the Nook Plaza site, players can see exactly what prices certain items go for when being sold at Nook's Cranny.
Items can be searched and be checked for how much it costs to buy, if it requires being crafted, or even how much it sells for.
Animal Crossing Pattern Tool
For players looking to create the perfect custom designs or want to directly upload pre-made images into their copies of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, they can use the fan-site, Animal Crossing Patterns Tool.
Animal Crossing Patterns Tool allows players to draw out designs with a much bigger screen, as well as giving them access to their mouse and possible drawing tablet. Players can additionally upload images to the tool and convert them into a design. From there, the designs will be turned into QR Codes that can be scanned via the Nintendo Online App on players' real-life smartphones.
Happy Island Designer
Players wishing to create the perfect island need somewhere to start. However, planning everything out from rivers to bridges can be a little overwhelming when everything is directly in front of a player. Luckily, many other players felt the same way and have created the Happy Island Designer app.
Named after Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Happy Island Designer is a free to use app that allows players to plan their island's mapping from their computer or smartphone screens.
The app lets players plan out where flowers grow, where cliffs start and end, and even where the rivers go. This serves as a great reference for players trying to feel out how they want their islands to be. With many players recreating areas from other games and others living cozy cottage lives, the Happy Island Designer serves as a great first step.
NookNet Designs
Players who can't figure out what kind of outfit they want to create or simply aren't artistically skilled can use NookNet's design portal to see and share custom designs made by Animal Crossing players all around the world. Everything from normal cute clothes to fun cosplay costumes are available.
NookNet allows players to search by name or category, so players can find the perfect design they've been searching for. Players should note that a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to download outfits from the kiosk in the back of the Able Sisters shop.
NookNet Island Tunes
NookNet additionally offers user-submitted town tunes for players looking for the perfect song to play. Town tunes are what play in everyday island life, from the bells of Residential Services that play with the changes hours, to the little jingle that villagers sing upon talking to them.
Players using the NookNet Town Tune Portal don't have to rely on just trusting the note sheets in front of them, as all submitted tunes can be previewed from the site. Songs such as the famous Neon Genesis Evangelion opening, Cruel Angel's Thesis, to the classic Portal 1 credit song, Still Alive, are all available to listen to and input on players' own islands. Of course, players can also submit their own town tunes to share with thousands of players around the world.
