A creative Animal Crossing: New Horizons player recently shared a look at the incredibly detailed and delightfully spooky Halloween-themed room they designed. Purple and orange striped wallpaper featuring jack-o-lanterns and bats decorate the walls, along with pennant banners and a spooky stringed wall hanging of purple bats, orange pumpkins, and white ghosts. Glowing jack-o-lantern portraits cover the walls while carved pumpkins are displayed around the room. Eerily glowing eyeball lanterns illuminate the entryway, flanked by pumpkin pie and a magician's hat.

The floor is composed of a series of jack-o-lantern rugs, covered in a ghostly fog. A small snack table covered in an orange tablecloth offers up some festive treats including spooky cookies and white chocolate dipped pretzels. Halloween masks, a sphinx statue, a Dia de los Muertos skull, a crystal ball, and several aquariums full of slimy fish and eels add an intricate layer of tricks to the treat-filled room. While some players may choose to design an entire Halloween island in Animal Crossing, others are content to decorate an intricately festive room to celebrate the spooky season.

Fellow Animal Crossing fans responded festively to the room design. Many complimented the intricate detailing, such as the addition of a chat bubble effect to make it seem as though a creepy doll in the corner was speaking. Others enjoyed the custom dress worn by the player's character, making it seem as though they were all dressed up for a Halloween party with some of the villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Whether preparing to party solo or with creatures of the night, this Halloween-themed room is a perfect example of how players can express their creativity in Animal Crossing.

Animal Crossing remains a staple among life-sim fans, with its customizable design options and laid-back gameplay. Players continue to find and create new content to share with the community to supplement official game updates. From a newly announced Animal Crossing LEGO set to festive fan creations, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have plenty of fun and exciting content to look forward to.
