The base game of Nintendo's life sim, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, has always given its players a lot of options in customizing their deserted island getaway. When the free 2.0 update and the Happy Home Paradise DLC was released in 2021, fans had even more options in personalizing the island that their villagers called home. Recently, a fan of both Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Detroit: Become Human married the two fandoms together to recreate Rose's Farm, a location from the adventure title, on their ACNH island.

Players of Animal Crossing: New Horizons seem to be very proficient in recreating locations on their island getaways. Fans take inspiration both from real-life areas to their favorite spots in other video game series. Some fans have been recreating many Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild locations in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, while other players seem to enjoy using themes from films like Jurassic Park or Shrek. With so many iconic spots in Detroit: Become Human, ACNH players will likely also be inspired to reproduce them in the life sim title.

Recently sharing their playthrough of Detroit: Become Human, Reddit user 19netta posted a photo of their recreation of Rose's Farm in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Commenting on the thread, the Redditor shared that they had just gone through the adventure game's Midnight Train chapter. Fans of Detroit: Become Human would likely recall that Rose's Farm is a significant location in this chapter, as this is where Rose Chapman helps deviant androids escape and cross the border to Canada.

According to the Redditor, they used the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC to recreate Rose's Farm. They also tweaked the colors of the image they posted to capture the snowy atmosphere from the Detroit: Become Human scenery. Replies on 19netta's thread shared the Redditor's love for both of the games that they featured. Some even asked how they were able to place a vehicle on their island. The Redditor shared that they were able to purchase them from the daily items found in the Nook Shopping app.

With Detroit: Become Human still having a few more chapters after Midnight Train, it is possible that the Redditor can be inspired more by the other locations in the adventure sim. Hopefully they funnel that inspiration into Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as the both games' communities will likely appreciate seeing their detailed work on their deserted island getaway.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available on Nintendo Switch.
