There is always a lot to do in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Many players often find themselves keeping busy, whether it is exploring new deserted islands with Kapp'n, creating villager vacations homes with the paid Happy Home Paradise DLC, or simply working to make improvements to their home islands. Recently, an ACNH player shared funny yet relatable footage of them having the worst luck in the game, even though they were just doing simple tasks around their island getaway.

The new content introduced by Animal Crossing: New Horizons last November 2021 seems to have reignited players' excitement and fervor for the life simulation title. Though Nintendo announced that the 2.0 update will be the last major free update, it still brought about big changes in the video game. With new tours, additional ways to improve their homes, and more villagers to invite into the island, fans who have dropped ACNH after a year of playing may have found themselves back in the game. What's more, the new Happy Home DLC added more playable aspects into the game, even though players had to pay to get access.

On Reddit, user kboodrx shared a short clip of them working in their Animal Crossing: New Horizons home island. The player's character is seen rolling snowballs around, likely trying to make a perfect Snowboy. Creating Snowboys is one of the many seasonal activities available during the ACNH winter season. Unfortunately, as the player was trying to put the snowballs together, instead of forming the Snowboy, one snowball pushed the other into a rocky area. This destroyed the second snowball, leaving the player at a loss for their hard work.

To compensate for their hard work, the player decided to shoot down a balloon gift that they saw flying overhead. However, the gift dropped down onto the same rocky area and disappeared. What's more, the player's Animal Crossing: New Horizons slingshot broke, completing their series of really unfortunate circumstances. Hilarious, yet completely relatable, many fellow fans sympathized with kboodrx, stating that they have experienced the exact same things they did in the video. The Redditor also commented that they went on the game to de-stress, but ended up getting stressed all over again.

Though the video did showcase kboodrx's seemingly bad luck, they took it good-naturedly and played along with the many reactions on the Reddit thread. This just shows that Animal Crossing: New Horizons content like these are what make its player community such a wholesome and fun one to be part of.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available on the Nintendo Switch.
