Animal Crossing: New Horizons has seen its community create a wide variety of different looks in their houses since its release. With a long list of different wallpapers, floors, and items from which to choose, there are many possible designs that players can create. In the latest creative twist for a room in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, one player recreated the interior of an airplane in their basement.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released in March 2020 and is the fifth major installment in the series. Each day players gain access to new items at Nook’s Cranny as well as through the Nook Terminal and as gifts. Some items can be quite rare in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, while others are more easily accessible.

This new look for a basement was created by u/Airkoryo_ and is an impressive design. Within this basement are five rows of airplane seats separated by an open pathway. Though the angles don't show each seat, there must be at least 20 matching seats in the room. There are two wallpapers in this creation, one is a perfect recreation of the interior of an airplane with windows while the other looks well enough like the walls that separate sections in a plane. The player is resting on one of the seats facing a wall with screens and a curtain.

For those players looking to copy this look, they have a lot of work to do. Getting the airplane chairs can be a challenge but, once a player has one, they should be able to order the rest through the Nook Terminal over the course of a few days. The wallpapers and floor are a bit easier to get now that the game has had its latest update and players can find Saharah more regularly. However, players will still need to get a Pro Decorating License in Animal Crossing: New Horizons in order to create the accent walls.

As with other impressive room builds in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this one shows off how difficult it can be to find the items players are looking for. Though a fully upgraded Nook’s Cranny offers players three items a day, this is hardly enough to get players access to every item in the game in any short amount of time.

Then again, the Animal Crossing genre of games has always been about consistent play over a long period of time. It is a game series that encourages players to keep playing, a little bit each day. Either way, this creation is impressive and an achievement in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for Nintendo Switch.
