Twitch streamer Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa will be making her boxing debut in an upcoming influencer event. She's the latest content creator to compete in a boxing match following the success of events such as Ludwig's "Mogul Chessboxing Championship," featuring Disguised Toast, Myth, and more.

Named the most-watched female Twitch streamer of 2022, Amouranth made a name for herself during the hot tub meta. She has since deviated from hot tub streams and has been doing entertaining Just Chatting and IRL streams. She has also impressed fans with her entrepreneurial skills, previously revealing that she owns gas stations and pursues other business ventures, so she can build her own animal sanctuary in the future.

Amouranth's next big project is preparing for streamer Ibai Llanos Garatea's boxing event called "La Velada Del Año III" ("The Evening of the Year III") happening in Madrid, Spain on July 1st. Ibai made the announcement on his recent stream, where he revealed the boxing card featuring online influencers, including Amouranth versus Spanish streamer Mayichi. Amouranth also confirmed the news by tweeting a photo of herself in boxing gear.

When Ibai hosted the first "La Velada Del Año" in 2021, he surpassed over 1 million concurrent viewers on Twitch. Now that he's one of the top streamers on the platform, many people are expecting him to break his current record of over 3.3 million concurrent viewers for his upcoming boxing event. Although the event is still a few months away, many fans already expressed their excitement for Amouranth and Mayichi's match, with some already choosing teams.

Influencer boxing events seem to be a hit among the streaming community. The recent Chessboxing event garnered over 2.8 million views when it was streamed on YouTube, while last year's Creator Clash reportedly exceeded 100,000 pay-per-view buys. The latter will be premiering its second edition this May. Many viewers seem to be invested in their favorite streamers' boxing journey as well since they see another side of them, and they want to support them in their matches. That said, many can expect many streamers would want to either organize their own boxing events or sign up to be a boxer to get their names out there.

With Amouranth and Ibai being among the top Twitch streamers right now, "La Velada Del Año III" might just see massive success on Twitch as many people predicted. This could also open doors for Amouranth to be part of more events in the US and abroad in the future.
