How to Get the Wrench in Amnesia: The Bunker
At the very beginning of the game, there are some traps and chains that players will stumble across that will make them wish they had something to cut the wires. However, the bolt cutters can't be picked up in the timeline of Amnesia: the Bunker until after players pick up the wrench. There are a bunch of steps that players have to complete to get to this point, so here is a list of everything that will need to be done before players can begin to try to get the cutters.
- First, players need to get Delisle's dog tag by sneaking into his room through the lounge next door. Be sure to stay quiet; running and being loud are big mistakes in Amnesia: the Bunker.
- Next, they will need to open his locker with the code on the back of the dog tag. The emergency valve will be inside.
- Head into the hallway to the prison and install the valve where the broken valve is located in the hall near the prison entrance.
- Open the valve; this will open the prison door and the entrance to maintenance.
- Head to the pillbox to find Stafford's dog tag.
- Open Stafford's locker in Mission Storage to get the wrench in this dark horror game.
Once players have the wrench, they can head into the prison to finally pick up the bolt cutters to get closer to the end of the Bunker.
How to Get the Bolt Cutters in Amnesia: the Bunker
Now that players have the wrench, they can open the German prisoner's cell. Head to the prison, then open the vent into the warden's office where one of the photos in Amnesia: The Bunker is. Head inside, and players can open the German prisoner's cell.
The monster will attempt to attack the prisoner, but players can shoot him to scare him away if they wish to keep the POW alive. This is one of the achievements for Amnesia: The Bunker. Once the monster is gone, players can nab the cutters.
