The new Ryzen AI 300 lineup is a series of laptop processors. It comprises two models, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365. Much like their monikers suggest, these offerings have been designed with artificial intelligence applications in mind. To that end, they come equipped with a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) capable of performing 50 trillion operations per second. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is a slightly higher-end product, as underlined by its 20% higher counts of cores and threads, as well as a 6% larger total cache size. Since these processors are meant to power portable devices, they also feature integrated graphics chips.

The Computex 2024 conference also saw AMD reveal its latest Ryzen 9000 and 5000 Series desktop processors. The Ryzen 9 9950X is the top model from the newly showcased series, with AMD touting it as the fastest consumer-grade desktop CPU in existence. All three of the new Ryzen 9000 Series processors are advertised as offering major improvements in both speed and efficiency compared to their predecessors. Exactly how "major" these advances actually are won't be clear until the processors hit the market in July 2024, which is when consumers can expect the first third-party benchmarks to come out. No pricing info has yet been attached to any of the newly announced processors.
