Amazon has announced its upcoming additions to the Luna+ subscription service game library for the month of March 2023, as well as March's rotation of Luna's Prime offerings, too. The cloud-based game streaming service continues to grow, expanding through new game additions month to month. Luna+ has grown beyond 100 games and March will see that game library grow even larger.Amazon Luna officially launched almost one year ago, following over a year of closed access to a limited number of users. The cloud-based gaming platform has a unique approach compared to its competitors, though. Luna+ is Amazon's competitor to PlayStation Plus Premium and Xbox Game Pass, but Amazon also offers games via Amazon Prime or alternative subscriptions like Ubisoft+ and the Jackbox Games bundle. Amazon Luna is offering options to cloud gamers, and seeing what works best for its customers.RELATED: Ubisoft Game Purchases Now Carry Over to Amazon Luna

Amazon Luna+ March 2023 Games

  • Citizen Sleeper
  • Guacamelee 2

Luna+ is still the heart of Amazon's cloud-gaming platform, of course, and new games are added every single month. In March, Amazon has two new additions to the Luna+ game library. First is the narrative RPG Citizen Sleeper, a story set in the ruins of interplanetary capitalism. The second addition to Luna+ in March is DrinkBox Studios' Guacamelee 2, an action-platformer Metroidvania starring luchador Juan Aguacate. Both Citizen Sleeper and Guacamelee 2 are critically acclaimed indie projects and excellent additions to the Luna+ library.

Amazon Luna Prime March 2023 Games

  • Mega Man 11
  • Sail Forth
  • Get Packed: Couch Chaos

The next rotation of Amazon Prime offerings on Luna has also been revealed for March. Each month, Amazon makes three games available to Prime subscribers through Luna. The three games that will be available through March are Mega Man 11, the 2018 sequel to the iconic 2D action-platformer series, sailing simulator Sail Forth, and the chaotic co-op party puzzle game Get Packed: Couch Chaos.

Getting started on a cloud gaming service can be an obstacle for many game players, since it's such a new product. Luna is hoping to persuade some new players to try the service out by offering a special promotion. Signing up between now and March 18 will unlock two full months of Luna+ for free, instead of the typical 7-day Luna+ free trial. It's a great opportunity to see if Luna is right for gamers, and an opportunity to try some excellent games, too.

Between Luna, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus Premium, Nvidia GeForce Now, and smaller platforms like Shadow, Playkey, and Boosteroid, competition in the cloud gaming space is ever-increasing. Luna seeks to offer unique cloud-based ways to play to grab players' attention. Whether it's free games available to the massive audience of Prime subscribers, the ever-growing Luna+ game library, or otherwise, Luna's an exciting cloud platform to check out in March and beyond.
