Highlights

  • Massive discounts on all three Dragon Age games are available ahead of The Veilguard's launch in Fall 2024.
  • The sale lasts until June 27.

All three main series Dragon Age games are currently enjoying massive discounts ahead of The Veilguard's planned Fall 2024 launch. Dragon Age is BioWare's beloved fantasy series that started all the way back in 2009 with the wildly successful Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age: Origins was followed by a more divisive second entry, Dragon Age 2, in 2011, and the Game of the Year-winning Dragon Age: Inquisition in 2014.

For a while there, Dragon Age fans were treated to a new game every few years or so, but that consistency stopped with Dragon Age: Inquisition. After Dragon Age: Inquisition, BioWare turned its attention to the ill-fated Anthem, which threw the well-regarded studio off track. BioWare has now re-focused its efforts on its most popular IP, with a new Mass Effect game in development and the long-awaited Dragon Age: The Veilguard coming this fall, a whopping 10 years after Inquisition was first released to the masses.

Alternatively, anyone interested in playing through the Dragon Age series can sign up for EA Play and get access to all three games that way as well.

What makes these deals even better is the fact that these are all the special edition versions of the games, meaning they come with all post-release content. For Dragon Age: Origins, this means fans get access to the base game, all content packs including new companion characters, and the highly-praised Awakening expansion. Dragon Age 2's Ultimate Edition comes with three expansions, cosmetics, and a variety of other content, while Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition includes all the DLC, including the Trespasser DLC, which is a must-play before checking out The Veilguard.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is still without a specific release date at the time of this writing, but there should be plenty of time for anyone interested to take advantage of these discounts and play through the whole series between now and its launch. Choices made in one Dragon Age game carry over to the next, so those that want to get the full experience should definitely make it a point to experience it all from the beginning.
