Twitch streamer Alinity has found herself in another controversy after accidentally flashing her viewers during a Friday night broadcast. The streamer was attempted to tuck some rolled up cloth under her shirt and accidentally pulled it up too high and exposed one of her breasts.

Shortly after the incident, clips of Alinity's waldrobe malfunction found their way online and the streamer did her best to take them down. As with anything on the Internet, once a clip makes it's way online it's very difficult to take down.

To make clear, there have been streamers who were banned for accidentally showing less on stream, so there is a precedent for some action against Alinity. But Twitch's enforcement of its rules is always inconsistent, and that inconsistency has been an issue when it comes to Alinity specifically. Maybe it will help that Twitch recently reaffirmed its dress code rules, but this is very different than choice of clothing for a broadcast.

Without question, this will be yet another incident that will add fuel to the fire against Alinity. Since the Twitch streamer aggressively tossed her cat on a broadcast, Alinity has found herself under fire on a regular basis. Whether it's prior wardrobe malfunctions or inapporpriate language, many of have tried to use Alinity's actions against her. The goal, ultimately, is to have Alinity serve some form of punishment, but thus far nothing has happened to her or her stream.

As a result, it wouldn't be surprising to see this latest incident pass by without any statement from Twitch. Thus far, Alinity has not even acknowledged what happened, outside of taking down clips from her Twitch page and trying to issue DMCA takedowns on sites like Reddit.

Regardless of how someone might feel about Alinity, it seems like the action was accidental. She immediately recognizes what has happened, but surprisingly does not take down her stream thereafter. Typical Twitch procedure for any accidental situation like this is to take the stream down, delete the VOD (video archive) of the stream, and then delete any clips that may have been created. Alinity did all this but only after she completed her broadcast.

Nevertheless, intentional or not, this is already a springboard for calls to Twitch about banning Alinity. After the cat throwing incident, Alinity found herself very high on the list of streamers that viewers felt could get away with more than others, and many wanted to see her punished. This is certainly a punishable offense, but not one that will equal what folks like PETA were looking for a year ago.
