As many will no doubt have already heard, popular Twitch streamer Alinity has been the subject of extreme controversy as of late following an inappropriate wardrobe malfunction while live on air. The incident went on to become a major talking point online, with the streamer only being served up a 24-hour ban despite her mistake very clearly violating some of Twitch's most imperative rules and guidelines.

Many accused the streamer of getting a light punishment, especially as the divisive streamer has broken the site's rules numerous times and has seen her channel survive relatively unscathed. However, it seems Alinity agrees with a lot of what people are saying online, with the streamer recently taking to Twitter to fire her own criticisms at the Twitch's strange banning policies and methods.

Responding to the news that FaZe Adapt had been banned for three days for "sharing or engaging in sexually suggestive contents or acts" despite the streamer not really understanding why, Alinity was very vocal about her grievances with Twitch's approach to banning. "THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM!" the streaming mainstay begins, claiming, "Twitch needs to come forward and EXPLAIN the reason that gets people suspended: With a timestamp of the stream and a description of EXACTLY what happened. PUBLICLY." She continues, "They can create a forum specifically for it. There needs to be RECORDS of this."

Many have gone on to wholeheartedly agree with Alinity's argument, with one streamer by the name of Bigmoran sharing their own personal experiences with the trivial banning policies of Twitch. "I spent two years banned on Twitch not knowing what I was even banned for," Bigmoran begins, revealing "I contacted support almost monthly, even mailing a handwritten letter to understand my ban and have some recourse. Never once did I get any answer. Their system is so broken." This is clearly a major problem that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, especially as streamers should have ample information about why they're being suspended from what is, for many, a full-time job.

The tweet did, however, see many bring Alinity up on her recent mistakes, to which she responded: "I am extremely tired of being a point of comparison and being harassed by the communities of every single streamer that receives a suspension." Regardless of the fact that Alinity's made countless poor decisions during her streams in the past, she does seem to have a point here, especially with the rules and regulations surrounding streaming becoming more complex by the day.
