Alchemy Stars is a mobile strategy RPG game from developer Tourdog Studio and publisher Level Infinite. The gacha gameplay component, like other games in the genre, allows players to “summon” new and potentially very powerful playable characters.

In-game purchases will help power up a player's characters if they buy specific perks, but they can also take a chance on the random loot crates that can feature anything from characters to take with you on the battlefield to cool power-ups.

The action in Alchemy Stars takes place on the land of Astra, where Aurorians and Caelestites have lived for centuries. Now, they face the Eclipsites, who were sent to exterminate the Caelestites. As players progress through the game, they will get to meet all six different factions, and encounter exotic locations and other fascinating places.

The gameplay is a tile-based battle system where characters unleash attacks on the forces of evil. The more same-colored tiles that are connected, the more powerful they attack will be. Plus, characters also have awesome attacks they can deploy for even more damage.

Alchemy Stars Anniversary

As mentioned, Alchemy Stars is celebrating its one-year anniversary with some awesome gifts and a massive update delivered to users across Astra.

From now through June 20th, Alchemy Stars is going to deliver awesome gifts for everyone, be it new players or old-timers. Players that have not yet stepped foot on Astra, you can download the game for Android and iOS.

Free Gifts Galore

Throughout this anniversary celebration, Alchemy Stars players will get loads of free gifts. The devs also promise that players will receive Lumamber, the in-game currency in Alchemy Stars that's used to purchase various items, replenish prisms (a character's stamina), or get Aurorian recruits, for instance. Players will be able to spend their Lumamber however they want.

On another note, players will even get a free six-star Aurorian. This is one of the rarest characters in the game and will certainly help in the effort to fight against the Eclipsites. Here Comes Reinhardt

Although the six-star free character is going to be very enticing, Alchemy Stars is also welcoming a new hero. There are already over 100 characters in the game, but Reinhardt is one that players could desperately want.

Reinhardt comes with impressive powers and weapons, and the hard job of acting as Illumina's Grand Marshal. The Pentastar, her blazing lance that can kill Eclipsites in the blink of an eye, will impress just as much as the character’s commitment to her people will.

Welcome to Cloud Gardens

The game is introducing a new area called the Cloud Gardens, where players can build a base and craft items! How cool is that?! Players can add a lot of cosmetic items to make this a home of their own when they're not busy on the war torn battlefield.

You can now gather crafting materials and create cool items. Having a base in the Cloud Gardens will certainly make you spend more time in-game as you wait for your recharges. You can even invite your friends from Alchemy Stars to visit your homebase or you can go visit theirs!

A Hero's Return

Along with these wonderful anniversary perks, the game is also getting a new episode, expanding the story arc even further. “A Hero's Return” tells the story of Reinhardt and her return to her homeland. When her journey home goes sideways, she must face an unknown threat. We'll keep mum on the rest of the details, so players can discover them on their own.
