The developers of Alan Wake 2 have officially released the patch notes for the game’s first update, which affects all consoles and PC, and mostly focuses on solving bugs and known issues. Alan Wake 2 is a survival horror game, and while it has a perfectly scary atmosphere, it can be let down by glitches, so developers are rushing to fix everything quickly.

While it’s fair to say that Alan Wake 2 received a pretty good overall reception, it’s not free from technical issues. For instance, Alan Wake 2 reviews complained about bugs, such as Saga Anderson’s case wall getting glitched, and a few game-breaking bugs like black screens blocking progress, for instance. So, these recent updates are a good first step to improve the overall experience.
