Agatha: Coven of Chaos continues to add some big names to its ever-growing cast. This time around, Sasheer Zamata and Eric André have joined the cast led by Kathryn Hahn.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos was announced just last year, with Hahn set to reprise her role in Agatha Harkness after her MCU debut in WandaVision. Also joining her are Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, and Emma Caulfield Ford, with Caulfield Ford reprising her role of Sarah Proctor from WandaVision, while Plaza is set to play a villain in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Though casting is currently underway, no details about the plot are known.

Deadline broke the news that Zamata joining Agatha: Coven of Chaos, while André is also said to have been cast in an undisclosed role. While Zamata has a recurring role in the series, André is only expected to appear for one episode. Both Zamata and André are actors and comedians. Zamata is known for having been a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2014 to 2017 and for her lead role on Woke. Meanwhile, André is known for his Adult Swim show The Eric André Show (which continues to permeate the public consciousness through memes and viral videos) and was recently spotted on Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities.

Though their roles are unknown, the fact that Zamata will be playing a recurring role while André will only be in one episode seems to indicate that Zamata's role will be the bigger one. Of course, André could be portraying a big character in one of the final episodes of the season, but it’s also possible that he’ll mostly just be a guest. Though the plot of the series is unknown, the fact that so many members of the cast are known for their work in comedy could mean that the show will be one of Marvel Studios' more comedic ones, which usually run for 9 episodes of 30-minute runtimes.

While André and Zamata are the latest actors to join the Coven, they may not be the last. Principal photography for the show reportedly kicks off next month (though Hahn previously said Agatha: Coven of Chaos filming starts in November), meaning it's still possible for a few more cast members to be revealed. Still, both Zamata and André represent great talent and promise for the series, and it looks like it’s going to be a fun one.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos is scheduled to premiere on Disney Plus in winter 2023.
