After the Fall is a first-person virtual reality shooting game developed by Vertigo Games. The game’s storyline is set in the mid-1980s when an ice age began due to the overproduction of pharmaceuticals. Experiments were done on people to help them get used to the constant cold. These experiments led to the creation of a drug that made people more resistant to extreme weather. The inability to keep up with production and demand resulted in side effects, primarily drug withdrawal, which caused mutations in people, causing them to become vicious and aggressive.

After the Fall comes with a number of game modes like the Harvest Run and Team Deathmatch, Horde, Free for All, and The Line. Considering the game modes, it’s only right to talk about the chipsets that will best serve whatever weapons players decide to rely upon during missions. Chipsets were not always available for weapons when the game first launched; they were introduced to the game on February 15, 2022. Chipsets are new weapon mods and can only be unlocked by playing the new Mutator mode. Chipsets come in varying colors of rarity, which range from blue to red, and as expected, the rarity of each chipset is dependent on the difficulty of the Mutator mode.

7 Service Pistol: The Purple Chipset

Service pistol with its chipsets

The service pistol is the only weapon in the game that doesn’t have to be obtained. It is a semiautomatic handgun that works on recoil and has a chamber that fits 9mm rounds. Having a base damage of 60, a firing rate of 30, and a detachable box magazine feed system.

For this weapon, the best chipset to use would be the purple chip, consisting of skills like Last Stand, Bloodfest, and Mag-Min. Last Stand comes with a 100 percent increase in damage when the health bar is below 25. On any special kill, Bloodfest grants a 50% damage increase and a 30% increase in fire rate for thirty seconds. Mag-Min lets players do an extra 0.3% damage for each round of ammunition that isn't in the magazine.

Out of all the chipsets available for the service pistol, the purple chip has the most firepower to eliminate enemies. It is also important to remember that only one chip can be equipped at a time since each weapon has just one slot for chipsets.

6 Arizona Falcon: The Blue Chipset

The best chipset usable for this weapon is the blue chip. Flat fire, flat recoil, flat damage, flat mag, and flat critical are the five skills available for the blue chip. Flat fire increases the player’s fire rate by up to twenty percent. With Flat Recoil, the weapon's recoil time is cut by 15%, so players can reload faster.

The flat damage increases overall damage by five percent. Flat mag increases the weapon magazine size by twenty percent. Flat critical increases the weapon’s chance of having a critical hit by ten percent.
