Unfortunately, Cody Rhodes isn't immediately available, and players must earn and unlock him before they can use him in AEW Fight Forever. Luckily, the methods to unlock Cody Rhodes are achievable using the following methods.

How To Get Credits in AEW Fight Forever

AEW Challenge modes

All credits in AEW Fight Forever are in-game currency and can be earned just by playing the game. Thankfully, there are some faster methods to earning credits to get Cody unlocked as quickly as possible so players can use him in exhibition matches and the career mode.

Challenges

Challenges present the player with daily and weekly tasks to complete and earn credits. The Challenges can be located on the main menu screen by pressing RB/R1/R to highlight the new menu. There are daily, weekly, and secret challenges to participate in.

Exhibition Mode

Having a five-star match in AEW Fight Forever's exhibition modes will unlock more AEW credits as a reward. Five-star matches are usually determined by a match's length, how much of an exciting back-and-forth battle it is, and how many near-falls there are.

Taking the fight to the outside, using weapons in AEW Fight Forever, and hitting signature and special moves contribute to earning five stars.

Try Everything

Even if playing AEW Fight Forever's mini-games aren't appealing, playing them for the first time or with friends will unlock more AEW credits. This extends to creating a new tag team, customizing wrestlers, playing the career mode, Casino Battle Royale, and more.

With enough credits earned, players won't have much trouble unlocking Cody Rhodes and other rewards like alternate attires.
