Fans of wrestling games know that the bulk of their longevity comes from creating and customizing their fantasy wrestling scenarios and updating their roster of wrestlers to better represent the product on television. While AEW Fight Forever doesn't have the customization options of WWE 2K23 or Fire Pro Wrestling World, there are still options for players to tinker with their favorite wrestlers and their attires. Thankfully, AEW Fight Forever allows fans to change their attires and purchase more clothes from the in-game shop.
How To Change Appearance In AEW Fight Forever
There are limitations on what players can do to customize their favorite AEW wrestlers, but more attires and clothing options will unlock through playing the game, DLC, and purchasing them from the in-game shop. To change attire in AEW Fight Forever, use the following steps:
- On the main screen, highlight and select Custom.
- Select Wrestler.
- Select Modify Wrestler to change the attire of an official AEW wrestler.
- Select the wrestler for the attire change.
- Select New Preset.
- Some AEW stars like Kenny Omega have hidden alternate attires AEW Fight Forever that can be set using this method.
- Players can choose to add new tops and clothing to their wrestlers.
- Some clothing items have a painting icon next to them. Players can customize the color of these particular items.
- To rename the presets, press X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, and Y on the Switch, or click the options icon on the keyboard and mouse.
Change A Created Wrestler's Attire In AEW Fight Forever
Players who work through AEW Fight Forever by completing challenges, finishing Road to Elite, and competing in exhibition matches will earn in-game credit to purchase more items like clothes and props. Players have more customization options for created wrestlers. Use the following steps to change attires for a custom wrestler:
- Select Custom on the title screen.
- Select Modify Wrestler to customize an already created character or New Male or Female Wrestler to create a new one.
- Players can modify all aspects of a custom wrestler's look. They can change their ring attire, entrance attire, and street clothes. Street clothes are displayed in the cutscenes during Road To Elite mode.
- All new attires unlocked in the shop will appear in the New section for players to use and add to their wrestlers.
That's everything a player needs to change and modify attires for their AEW roster and custom characters in AEW Fight Forever.
