Pokemon is everywhere. Fans of the series can easily acquire everything from Pokemon home decor to Pokemon designer-name fashion, and the creation of new products and collaborations shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. An upcoming leaked release from Adidas further cements this notion, with the classic shoe manufacturer teaming up with Pokemon.

Evidently, Adidas will be producing a line of Pokemon low-top sneakers for fans of the series. So far, images of two models have appeared online: Pikachu and Squirtle. However, rumor has it that the two companies are planning a whole line based off of of the original starter Pokemon, so gamers who prefer Charmander and Bulbasaur may not be out of luck just yet.

The low-top Adidas Pikachu shoes feature an all-over lineart of Pikachu in various poses, as well as a large embroidered full-color image of Pikachu. The rear heel tab is Pikachu's iconic yellow, as are the eyelets of the shoe's laces. The tongue of the shoe is emblazoned with Adidas and Pokemon on the outside, and a hidden Pokeball on the inside. Squirtle's shoe is essentially identical in design, except with a blue color scheme and Squirtle images instead.

At this time, the shoes haven't received an official announcement by Adidas or The Pokemon Company, so it's unclear exactly when gamers will be able to get their hands on them. Fans who want to wear their Pikachu shoes while playing Pokemon GO should keep a watchful eye out, however, as this type of collaboration project often sells out quickly.

Pokemon fans definitely have no shortage of clothing options when it comes to showing their love for the series in recent times. In addition to common branded items with images from the games and anime series, more subtle - and expensive - options have cropped up in recent times, like the custom Pokemon dress shirts that recently premiered, allowing fans to add designs based on any of the original 151 Pokemon they love to the collar, cuffs, or body of the shirts.

Pokemon Sword & Shield is set to release later this year for the Nintendo Switch.
