Rogue is a key member of the X-Men mythos, and the internet is ablaze with dozens of actors who could nail the performance needed to bring Rogue to life in an authentic way comic fans have been waiting for.

8 Kiersey Clemons

Even though Kiersey Clemons is set to star in the upcoming DC movie The Flash in 2023, it's unclear what her future holds in the always-changing landscape that is Warner Bros.' comic book film division.

After starring as a child on the Disney channel in several different shows, Clemons made her big-screen breakout as Diggy in the critically-acclaimed coming-of-age crime comedy Dope. Her experience in ensemble casts means she could gel well in an X-Men property built on delivering a cast of characters who must work with one another to accomplish a singular goal.

7 Daisy Ridley

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 7

It's about time that Daisy Ridley gets to star in a fandom-driven series that isn't Star Wars. She's a talented actress who brings it all to the table and would likely nail the complexity of Rogue in terms of how the character often lives in a world of gray morality. Some might argue that she's a bit old for the role, which is crazy considering she's only 30 years old, but that comes from the belief that Marvel Studios is looking to introduce a young class of mutant X-Men.

Regardless, it'd be smart to stagger the ages of characters even if that was the case. All that aside, Daisy Ridley has more than earned her the opportunity to take on or turn down a role in the MCU, and Rogue might be the perfect role for the English actor.

6 Victoria Moroles

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 6

Plan B is a coming-of-age movie that focuses on two young friends looking for a solution to a terrible sexual experience one of them had the night prior. Victoria Moroles plays Lupe, the best friend of the girl looking to overcome a life-changing circumstance. Moroles is vibrant and charismatic in the role and showcases the on-screen presence needed to deliver a portrayal of Rogue in the MCU.

Hailing from Texas, Moroles is also familiar with the Southern culture and charm that is tied into the mutant from Mississippi. Marvel Studios has an eye for upcoming talent and Moroles could follow in the footsteps of other actors who burst onto the scene via the MCU.

5 Diana Silvers

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 5

Diana Silvers isn't a name most people reading this would recognize, but upon seeing her face they'd likely remember her as a side character in a movie they watched. Her most prominent roles were as part of the ensemble cast of the thriller Ma, as well as the surprise love interest to one of the main characters in the critically-acclaimed coming-of-age comedy Booksmart.

Silvers has all of the makings of an A-list actor and needs the opportunity to showcase all she has to offer. She's naturally likable on screen, but also has the range to showcase a darker and more sinister side to the characters she plays.

4 Millie Bobby Brown

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 4

When is Millie Bobby Brown going to be in the MCU? That's a question that's been asked on the internet millions of times ever since the Stranger Things star burst onto the scene. She's managed to lead a movie series in recent years playing the role of the titular character in Enola Holmes for Netflix, which recently saw the release of a sequel.

Kitty Pride is the X-Men character she's most commonly linked to, and though she'd likely nail that role, Rogue might be a more prominent character in terms of how Marvel Studios will present their version of the mutants this time around. Rogue's love interests tend to play a role in her story, which may be a no-go for Millie Bobby Brown considering how weird the romantic storytelling has gotten for both her and her character in the latter seasons of Stranger Things.

3 Hunter Shafer

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 3

Marvel Studios has made it a focus to provide more representation in their movies and Disney+ series in recent years, and the X-Men's cast of characters could provide the perfect avenue for them to continue this trend. Hunter Shafer of Euphoria fame has proved herself to be a talented actor and provides arguably the best performance in the award-winning series outside of Zendaya.

Shafer also happens to be a trans woman, a form of representation the MCU hasn't had yet. The trans community fights for acceptance and rights every day of their life, and the added layer of what being a member of the X-Men could provide the character of Rogue with layers to unravel in a performance by Shafer on the big screen.

2 Milly Alcock

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 2

House of the Dragon by HBO recently ended its first season, and to no one's surprise it ended up being a hit. Milly Alcock took on the role of the younger version of Rhaenyra Targaryen and delivered an outstanding performance. Alcock managed to portray authentic naivety, while also delivering the self-confidence and complicated perspective that made Rhaenyra an endearing character to the audience.

With the show moving forward in time it's unlikely that Milly Alcock will return to the role, now played by Emma D'Arcy, which means she's available. It's clear she has star power and stellar acting ability and it'd be a real shame if Marvel Studios missed the opportunity to bring her into the MCU via the X-Men.

1 Keke Palmer

Marvel Cinematic Universe XMen Rogue Casting 1

The number one name with a bullet in terms of fan casting for Rogue in the MCU belongs to Keke Palmer. The actor most recently captured the attention of audiences via creator/director Jordan Peele's latest thriller, Nope. She's set to land a role in a major fandom-driven series, with the world of superheroes likely being the landing spot. There's no doubt she brings the bombastic personality needed to deliver a captivating portrayal of Rogue.

Palmer's even gone as far as to quote tweet messages suggesting she take on the role, meaning that she's just as interesting as those who want her in the MCU. Actors rarely land the roles they publicly shoot for, especially when it comes to Marvel Studios, but that doesn't mean that Palmer couldn't be a part of the MCU and/or X-Men as either Rogue or a different character.
