Where to Begin Blood from a Stone?

After the Pilgrimage to St. Albanes quest, Fulke will ask Eivor, Sigurd, and Basim to follow her through Oxenefordscire. From St. Albanes Abbey, players must follow Fulke on horseback to Evinghou Tower to the west. Th quest features an in-depth conversation with Fulke about her belief system. Once players arrive at the tower, Fulke will continue inside and players need to follow.

Climbing up the ladder and into the tower reveals that it has been ransacked. There are three investigation points within the tower but only one that is in the first room. This is a notice of excommunication for the person that Fulke has brought Eivor, Sigurd, and Basim to see but interacting with it doesn't advance the quest.

How to Find the Stone and Make the Right Choices?

In the rear portion of the main room is a moveable crate that is blocking a door. Destroying the wooden boxes nearby will allow players to open up the path to this hidden backroom. Opening the door reveals the body of Brother Paul (an investigation point) and another marked piece of paper with more information. Interacting with Paul will begin the next phase of the quest.

While this prompts a fiery conversation between Sigurd and Eivor, the choices in this specific moment won't impact that relationship. Instead, the group will eventually work their way outside in this cutscene and stumble into a fight with a large group of Eadwyn's soldiers. This can be a challenging prospect even while supported by Fulke, Basim, and Sigurd and players should mind the archers and crossbowmen on the nearby ramparts.

With this fight complete, players have to be careful in the following conversation. If players want the true and good ending to Assassin's Creed Valhalla, they need to avoid punching both Basim and Sigurd. Choosing to punch either character will have an impact later on in the game and counts as a strike against Eivor. With that done, Blood from a Stone concludes.
