Like any open-world game, something as expansive as Assassin's Creed Mirage will offer players the chance to resupply themselves with certain things throughout the game. Some of this requires finding ammo, health, and collectibles, while other items are unique to the Assassin's Creed franchise. Players can find these items by finding loot in an area or picking up goods from their fallen enemies. However, there are also options to buy these goods from helpful merchants scattered across the land.

Assassin's Creed Mirage: Things to do After Beating the Game

Like other Assassin's Creed games, there's always plenty for players to do after wrapping up the main plot of Mirage.

While these stores are quite helpful in a pinch, visiting one of these merchants for generic items will set the player back a few coins. Coins are not that hard to come by, but it is always nice to hold on to them for more important things. That is why it is helpful to know what items are necessary to buy from a store and which ones can be found elsewhere. With such a big open-world to explore, gamers are sure to find everything that they need throughout Assassin's Creed Mirage's vast world without having to resort to merchants too often.

6 Collectibles

A huge part of Assassin's Creed Mirage is finding all the collectibles hidden on the map. Some of these items will unlock certain features once players have collected enough of one object, while others are only necessary for 100% completion. Either way, it can be extremely frustrating when players are only missing a few of these items. That is why the notion of buying gear chests, enigmas, or lost books from a merchant can be tempting.

However, players will find it far more rewarding to save their gold and find these objects themselves. This is especially true when Basim's eagle, Enkidu, can easily scan for collectibles from the sky. This practice gets all the more easy once players also unlock the Pathfinder ability.

5 Ammo

Although Basim's hidden blade is a deadly weapon, he cannot defeat everyone he encounters with this simple tool. He will also need weapons like swords and deadly throwing knives to take out his enemies from a distance.

While these knives are extremely useful, they are not infinite. It can be tempting to quickly buy more from a merchant, but players should also remember that Basim can always replenish his ammo at one of the three Assassin's Bureaus across Baghdad. This includes a new surplus of throwing knives.

4 Trade Goods

Assassins Creed Mirage Pickpocketing

In any open-world game, the developers will include a series of miscellaneous goods that players can pick up. In Assassin's Creed Mirage, these goods are called Trade Goods, and they can be found in crates, on enemies' corpses, or when pickpocketing civilians. They can also be purchased from merchants across the land. However, these goods serve no purpose but to earn the player money.

When visiting a merchant, the player should click the option at the bottom of the menu marked 'sell all trinkets.' This will quickly remove any unnecessary loot from the player's inventory in return for some gold. Since these goods are of no real use to the player, there is no need to purchase trade goods from a merchant. If a player finds themselves short on gold later in the game, they can always spend time pickpocketing to get trinkets to sell.

3 Elixirs

An assassin isn't going to escape every encounter without a scratch. That is why elixirs come in handy during the game. This medicine can give the player back some more health, and these elixirs are available to buy at certain merchant stores.

Assassin's Creed Mirage: 7 Hardest Achievements

Some achievements in Assassin's Creed Mirage will take no small amount of effort for players to unlock them.

However, these elixirs can also be found in the open world. They are often concealed in boxes in restricted areas. Players hoping to acquire some should look for the boxes marked with a blue light in eagle vision, as these are more likely to contain elixirs. Be careful when hunting, though. Players can only carry a maximum of two elixirs at a time. Finding any more will cause them to be wasted.

2 Crafting Materials

Assassin's Creed Mirage Inventory

A key part of progressing through Assassin's Creed Mirage is upgrading Basim's weapons and armor to compete with the more difficult enemies toward the end of the game. To achieve this, players must find the correct amount of crafting materials and bring the schematics to a tailor. While these schematics cannot be bought at a merchant, the crafting materials can be.

However, this is not the player's only option. Crafting materials can be found by defeating enemies or by pickpocketing. It may take longer for players to find the right amount of crafting materials for an upgrade, but it is better than spending too much gold.

1 Skill Points

Assassin's Creed Mirage dagger of time

Players will find that there are a total of fifty-one skill points available in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Most of these are found by playing through the main story, although some are collected through lost books or the Tales of Bagdad.

Each one ensures that Basim gets a little better with each skill point collected, which in turn makes the game more fun. That is why players will have a better time seeking out the missing skill points in the open world, rather than just buying the lost books from a local merchant. Speeding through a game by buying extra things can be enjoyable, but completing a game is much more rewarding after players have earned it.
