Fans of the Prince of Persia video games may especially enjoy getting hold of Basim's Sand Outfit and the related bonus content, particularly while awaiting Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
How To Get The Prince Of Persia Sand Outfit In Assassin's Creed Mirage
To get the Prince of Persia-style Sand Outfit, players must buy the Assassin's Creed MirageDeluxe Edition, which contains some other extras, or they can purchase the Deluxe Pack separately if they only want the Sands-related content. Players can also access the Deluxe Edition through the Ubisoft+ subscription service. The Sand Outfit is one of several Prince of Persia-inspired pieces in the Deluxe Edition and Pack, containing the following items:
- The Sand Outfit
- The Sand Sword
- The Dagger of Time
- The Sand Horse mount
- The Sand Eagle
- The Hourglass of Time
- The Desert Sands Initiate of Alamut dye
However, players can only access the above Deluxe Prince of Persia-themed content once they reach the Hidden One's Harbiyah Bureau in Baghdad for the first time during the Baghdad Bound Assassin's Creed Mirage main story quest, a mission following the completion of players' training. A Bonus Content notification appears at the end of Baghdad Bound, unlocking the Prince of Persia-inspired content in the players' inventory. At this point, players can also access the Investigations menu for the first time.

Assassin's Creed Mirage Prince Of Persia-Inspired Deluxe Content Explained
What's interesting about the Prince of Persia-inspired Deluxe content is that much of it is not only cosmetic, changing the appearance of Basim's outfit and equipment. While the Eagle, Horse mount, Hourglass of Time Talisman, and dye are essentially cosmetic, the Sand Outfit, Sand Sword, and Dagger of Time offer additional perks that can also affect the gameplay, as detailed below:
The Sand Outfit
When equipped, the Sand Outfit has a perk called Second Chance, which enables players to survive a lethal hit and slow down time for three seconds, albeit only once during a fight. The outfit is also upgradable via the included upgrade schematics using Leather and Steel Ingot, allowing players to improve the perk's duration to four or five seconds.
The Dagger of Time
When players perfectly parry attacks in Assassin's Creed Mirage, the Dagger of Time lets them slow time down for three seconds, providing a handy window of opportunity to attack or finish off enemies. The iconic dagger is also upgradeable and is said to contain the Sands of Time, granting its mysterious time-reversal powers perhaps most known from the widely beloved Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time video game.
The Sand Sword
The Sand Sword is upgradeable and comes with the Healing Sand perk, enabling players to regenerate 20% of their health when time is slowed down.
