On Instagram, artist Zippxe envisioned what Taylor-Johnson could look like as the DC Universe’s Batman. In the picture, the actor can be seen wearing the sleek and iconic Batsuit while thinking about something. In James Gunn’s DC Universe, the caped crusader will be introduced in The Brave and the Bold movie. The title would reboot The Dark Knight for the newly-announced DCU. As of now, there has been no official confirmation about who is going to play Batman in the upcoming film. So, Gunn and the team might have a chance to contact Taylor-Johnson about the highly-anticipated movie.

The inclusion of Taylor-Johnson is surely going to be massive for the DCU. He has evolved as an actor in recent years and has become very popular. However, he is not the only one who might go on to play the legendary comic book character. It has been widely reported that actors such as Jensen Ackles and Alan Ritchson are rumored to be the frontrunners for playing Batman in the DCU. However, there’s no doubt that Taylor-Johnson possesses a widespread appeal that transcends boundaries. That’s one of the reasons why he became one of the frontrunners for playing James Bond. Although several reports claim that the offer has been made, no official confirmation has come yet. So, as of now, Taylor-Johnson is still the frontrunner to play Bond because no name has been decided yet.

At the age of 33, Taylor-Johnson stands just a few years older than David Corenswet, who portrays Superman in the DCU, rendering him an ideal fit for the role of Batman. He could play the role for many coming years and give excellent shape to the character’s evolving story. On the other hand, the actor is no stranger to superhero movies. He played a superhero in two Kick-Ass movies and went on to join Marvel. Now, Taylor-Johnson is once again ready to lead a comic book movie as the titular character of Sony’s Kraven the Hunter. Given his extensive background in superhero franchises, Taylor-Johnson emerges as a strong contender for the role of Batman in the DCU. Fans are pretty excited to see what version of Batman they will be seeing in The Brave and the Bold. As of now, no script has been finalized and the casting will only begin once the script is ready. Ben Affleck was the last Batman fans got to see on the big screen, and it would be thrilling to see who plays DCU’s Dark Knight.
