10 Moon In One's Cup (Liyue Harbor, Day)

Genshin Impact Liyue Harbour high viewpoint, sea and buildings

The songs in Liyue Harbor are known for being great for studying. This is because of their slow, relaxing melodies and lack of lyrics, which makes it easier to concentrate. Even so, "Moon in One's Cup" stands out as the best among them all. It is a soft, atmospheric melody which perfectly encapsulates the beauty of Liyue.

Genshin Impact is truly a game with beautiful locations, it is a game made for exploring and players can spend hours going through the game's breathtaking landscapes. These locations are made even better by the wonderful melodies that play there, tailored for the game's locations. As such, "Moon In One's Cup" manages to capture the essence of Liyue Harbor.

9 Let The Living Beware (Hu Tao's Theme)

A theme song, if done right, can take a character to an entirely different level. This is definitely the case when it comes to Hu Tao, who undeniably has one of the best and most recognizable theme songs in the entire cast of characters. Not only is it one of the most well-known themes, it is also one of the best.

The upbeat melody perfectly captures her oddball personality. It's fun, cheerful, and great to listen to. Plus, the "spooky" noises throughout make it so much better. In fact, many fans of the game have loved this song since it first appeared in Hu Tao's character demo. It certainly helped get players excited for her release.

8 Wrath Of Monoceros Caeli (Childe Boss Theme)

Genshin Impact Tartaglia Boss Fight, purple cape, big spear

The boss battle with Childe is the first Fatui boss fight in Genshin Impact, and what an incredible one it is. Childe is the perfect character to introduce the players to the Fatui. He is a character who many trust at first, but who ultimately ends up betraying the traveler and the entirety of Liyue. This makes his boss fight that much more impactful.

This may just be the happiest song in the entire game. Listening to it brings so much joy and the upbeat, fast-paced melody is one that many can't help but smile to. It is perfect for the bubbly, mischievous character of Klee, who players of the game have come to love. So much so that even her melody brings about a pure sense of glee.

Klee represents pure childhood wander; if the child had access to incredibly dangerous explosives. Her destructiveness is something of a running joke in the game, and it never gets old. It is only befitting that her theme would represent all this joy and chaos- two words which probably describe Klee best.

6 Surasthana Fantasia (Nahida's Theme)

A theme for the Archon of a nation needs to represent not only the character but the nation itself. "Surasthana Fantasia" does just that. The wonderful melody of pianos and violins represents the general feel of Sumeru and sounds like many of the soundtracks throughout the nation. Meanwhile, the joyful 'la las' in the background represent Nahida, a young archon who loves her nation.

This song is beautifully composed by the incredible Yu-Peng Chen and is a great example of his incredible skills as a composer. It is a happy, upbeat song full of a whimsical sense of happiness, perfect for the character it represents. It also works perfectly in her beautiful character demo.

5 Bard's Adventure (Venti's Theme)

This theme, at first, may just seem like a bunch of songs put into one. However, it actually tells a story through its various melodies, which weave and flow to create a story, maybe even that of Venti himself as the Anemo Archon. In fact, the very title of the songs makes this apparent.

"Bard's Adventure" is undoubtedly fitting for an archon. It's not only the perfect song for Venti, but is also representative of Mondstadt itself, which is a nation which many players love as it is the first in the game. The violin in this piece is incredible, especially in the parts which are fast-paced, and it stands out against the rest of the melody to draw attention to the beautiful sound. "Bard's Adventure" is easily one of the best songs in Genshin Impact.

4 Hustle and Bustle Of Ormos (Port Ormos, Day)

This is definitely beautiful work by Yu-Peng Chen. It perfectly captures the character of Zhongli, both the ancient warrior and archon that he once was and the calm, mild character that players will know him to be. A song which can capture both of these aspects is sure to be a good listen, and this theme proves it.

2 Lover's Oath (Guizhong's Lullaby)

Genshin Impact Guizhong trailer

Many players refer to "Lover's Oath" as Guizong's Lullaby, since before the official title even came out. It is speculated it may be about the beautiful friendship between Zhongli and Guizhong before her death. Or perhaps it may be referring to Xiao and his own story. Either way, it is hauntingly beautiful.

It is an alluring, soft melody which sounds like a chorus of violins. It is simultaneously relaxing yet intensely emotional. And it is undoubtedly one of the best songs in Genshin Impact. It is perhaps made even better by the fact that there is nothing else quite like it in the game.

1 Polumnia Omnia (Scaramouche Boss Theme)

Genshin Impact Scaramouche boss

While all the songs for the Harbinger boss fights are spectacular, this one takes the cake. The Scaramouche boss battle, while being extremely intense, also has the best soundtrack in the entire game. This fact is made even better by the fact that on the in-game version, the Latin vocals are performed by Yu-Peng Chen himself.

As far as boss battle music goes, this theme is incredible. From the melody, to the vocals, to the background voices. It definitely fits the high-stakes, adrenaline-inducing aspect of the fight. It is also a true testament to Yu-Peng Chen's skill as a composer. It even sounds like Scaramouche himself may be singing.

Genshin Impact is available now on Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
